Big Block heads
Can someone tell me what a used set of cast big block oval port, closed chamber heads are worth. The casting numbers say they are from a 1966 396-427. I also have a stock cast intake also. Anything you can tell me would be great Thanks

The cast iron intake isn't worth much, but the heads might bring a couple hundred if they're in decent shape. More if professional valve seat and/or port work w/paperwork, new parts throughout, fresh valve job, etc..
At the top of each forum page is a link to the free classified section. You could put them there with "best offer", to see what they'll bring. Include the casting numbers AND date!! A restorer will be looking for both, equally important. |
