big block mopar oil pump gasket???

Hi, i'm having a hard time finding an oil pump to block gasket for a big block mopar. I found one in year one catalog, but i cant find one at a local auto parts store. Sounds silly but the oil pump gasket is the same gasket from 1959 on up all big blocks b and rb blocks, but no local store carries it!! If someone has a fel pro gasket# that would help. the gasket kit sould come with 1 gasket and 2 o rings. i have the o rings but no gasket. i have looked online but only found year one to have it. this is just crazy!

Thanks, i saw that online. i just thought i was missing something since mopar has used that gasket on every big block for about 20 years. If you by a oil pump the gaskets comes with it, and a full gasket set has it too. I wanted to finish the motor this weekend but i guess i have to order the dam thing

I do not use the gasket on ANY mopar type RB oilpump. The oring(s) do the sealing and silicon takes care of rough surfaces.

I do not build cheap engines and do what is best..

Thanks, i have built alot of motors, if it has a gasket i use a gasket, but you are right. the o ring dose all the sealing. when i took the oil pump off the gasket didn't have a sealing surface. the oil pressure is in the tube sealed by one o ring. i just wanted some feed back.
Thank you! do you have a hemi?

More than one and use either Plueger, ProSystems, or Titan oil pumps for wet sump systems. Aluminum blocks none of the old cast iron stuff.

cool i'm taking you'r word on the gasket. i no its right when i pulled the oil pump out, the small oring sealed up the oil galley. i think they have the gasket in case the seal leaks a little. but a little silicone will seal nicely.
Thanks for the help. i just dont want to pull the motor out because of a 5 dollar gasket!
thanks ohd
