Big Block/Windshield Wiper Motor

I bet this has happened to someone before......I am stuffing the big block into my 67 Camaro and can't get the valve cover past the wiper motor. I need the taller valve covers on this engine; does anyone know of a different wiper motor I can use? THX!!

Many years ago I had a factory equipped 67 Camaro with the Big Block. I had tall valve covers on it with NO ISSUES ... I believe you may have the wrong motor mount frame stands on your Camaro ( especially if yours is a " conversion "

Conversion?

Hey thanks Deuce

My engine is a 454 (stroked to 496) and I am using standard frame mounts for a 67 with a big block. I'm not sure what you mean by a conversion? The sub-frame is original as is the firewall.

What I mean is ... if your car was originally a small block car ... and was converted to the big block ...the big block and the small block frame mounts are different. They will work ... but they set the engine at different heights.
