big elky

hey i just got another question

what is the biggest engine that chev ever put into an elcamino?

i hurd 454 but i am not sure.
also if i could pic one up with a 350, and a little bit of body rust and frame rust for 3 grand, would it be a bad deal.? mitch

IMO yes it would be bad deal. For 3000 you should be able to get a rust free setup. Unless it has a fairly new engine or something else about it that stands out, 3000 seems high to pay for something that is rusting. But I guess it depends on your definition of a "little" rust.
