in a bind
ok my truck is a 78 chevy fleetside box with a wood floor that is all ****ty. i have been looking for weeks for sites on this and cant find any thing. in all the truck books i have the wood kits are fot step sides. i love the look of wood and i want to keep it wood because it is going to be a show truck. so i was thinking of doing a custom job on the bed but i dont know were to start? i have never heard on a 78 fleetside long box with a wood floor.if any one could give so ideas on what to do that would be great.and even web sites of peoples wood beds on there trucks. oh one more thing can you put wheels wells from and older truck that had a wood bed onto my truck because they dont make stuff for my bed

I would think easiest ting to so is take out the existing wood bed see how it is built and put together and do the same with the new one, i mean that makes sense right?

If yopu have some truck magazines look for an ad for Bruce Horkie floors. They make all types of wood floors for all types of trucks and sell the seperate components also. I will look later and see if I can find the ad and scan it.
