The Metajules are like nothing else. They are a ceramic, or glass flake. The reason they don't make them now, as they were, is because...
The original plant in Japan was shut down for environmental polution.
Then they then built a plant in Louisiana... But Hurricane Katrina leveled it.
There call Zerrellics (spelling??) and the plant was closed due to the sunami, I think it is open now.
Corvette used them in the red pearl and the jet stream blue, nothing like it!
I painted my old vette that color ($1200+++ gallon of base in Debeers) and the new one is also that color.
In garage, looks like any blue but goes from blue to light blue to even a green shade in sun. jobber cost is about $200 a quart.
BASF and PPG both would have the different shades and both do a better job then the other company and cheaper mentioned with the custom color line.
Matrix also has a custom line that is suppose to be real good and can match any House of Color color.
I think playing with the different shades of the zerrelics in a black could be a real killer color.
