Black paint, looks like primer?

I want that old look (rat rod), and there is the paint that looks like primer, maybey it is primer, what is it? Also is there any in just a spray can, I like that look? Thanks advise, Dana

Really I'm not to sure, but what looks similar to me anyway is the paint in a can from the box stores which is the satin rust oleum, and to me if you prime it than shoot it and clear it seems to be fine? Dana
