Still Blizzard conditions here. never lost power or anything. Want to get cleaned out to get to the garage. The biggest issue on the scanner last night is a lot of the stations were out of diesel so the plows were having trouble getting fuel.
Our tanks are full, got delivered yesterday so I know we would be busy.

28" so far

sunny Calif snow days

I lived in the south end of the San francisco bay area for several years. , Now spend most of the year in the Northern rockies near yellowstone. There they have 6 months of hard winter then 6 months of poor snow skiing. I said to one of the Idaho neighbors that one time we had 22 snow days in Calif, the last year I was there full time . They said snow on the ground? Nope, 22 days we could actually see snow on the top of Mt Hamilton, while we stood in the valley floor in 60 * sunshine.

When I retired after 40 years in Alaska and moved to Georgetown, TX, just North of Austin where my retired brother lived. We had about 1/4 inch of snow fall and some ice on shaded streets. I went to register my new home security system with the Sheriff's office, they were closed due to foul weather, all their patrol cars were parked in the lot! Spent two years there, sold the house and bailed outta Texas!

My shoulders are in pain. Digging 30" of snow on the driveway. My wife's car was stuck on Vet's Hwy. Had to abandon the car and sit there overnight. Had to drive back to dig my wife's car. There snow half way up from the snow plow passing buy. Many car's and semi's were stuck everywhere. Some of side road were not plowed. I HATE WINTER!!!! 12" of snow.......MY *****!

We ended up with 30" here in Bellingham Ma. I'm happy to have a snowblower. There's no way I could have ever shoveled it all.
