Block I D

I have a sbc block the casting # on the rear drivers side is 3932386 the #'s on the front tab are 19n522737 VIOI4FK can anyone help?

69-78 4" bore. usually 4-bolt main

so a 2 bolt 350 huh.. I was told it was the original 327 but i guess not

My info shows block casting was used to make either 302, 327, or 350 engines, in 1969. 2 or 4 bolt main depending on application.

The "FK" in the stamped code decodes to 1969 327 2-bolt, originally with a Powerglide trans, in a full size car, 210 hp 2 barrel carb engine.

so its a 327. what are the differences in blocks between 350 and 327. if they both have a 4"bore is it the mains?

No, just the crank stroke is different, The '68-69 327 is large main journal(2.45") just like the 350 is. 327 is 3.25" stroke, 350 is 3.48" stroke, both have 4.000" bore.

The '62-67 327 is different, it is small journal, 2.30" main bearings. Same 4.000" bore and 3.25" stroke, different size main and rod journals.
