It seems like it is taking ages to block and fill the undersides of the hood and trunk.
The fiberglass for these mustangs is typically very bad on the outside and nasty on the inside.
The trunk took quite a while, the hood even longer. There was a lot of chopped and rough glass mat and resin to block through, so I could minimize the filler.
The idea I had was to do a mural on the inside of the hood and a smaller one on the underside of the trunk, in the future.
The good thing is that I am getting really good at dealing with pinholes, as there's a lot in the raw areas of the fiberglass. The bad thing, is that it has taken the best part of two months of intermitant nights.
I just hope that when it is all painted I will open up the hood and smile
