Thats cool that they helped you out. Hopefully, that will fix the oil consumption.
I had a similar experience with Campbell Hausfield. I have an airless that I bought used. Been using it about 10 years. It developed a weird leak around a fitting that had a seal INSIDE. The fitting should not leak. I called and we both figured the main block had a crack inside. I asked how much, she said don't worry, i'll just send one out. I again told her the age and she sent it anyway, about a 200 dollar part! Made a believer out of me for that company!
