blower belt

i was wondering if anyone using a blower ever had a broken belt while driving. seems you're not supposed to make them real tight on the pulleys so what holds them in place at high speed

I had a 142 that used a spring loaded tensioner to keep the proper tension on the 6 rib serpentine belt.
