Hi, I have 2 blowers from past. These were used for industrial applications and never for automotive, but I understand the same company built blowers for aircraft and cars. The first one is a Sutorbilt 3L - These folks went out of business in 1955 (sold to fuller). The 2nd one is a Connersville. I understand this is the father of Root?

I'm guessing...NOT. Roots blowers have been around since the mid-1800's. Originally designed for moving air into blast furnaces and ventilating grain elevators...
It is indeed hard to see how those would be used in a car, but they may not be scrapyard stuff yet! You never know who is collecting/restoring strange stuff out there, and would be thrilled to find those!
I guess more online searching is needed...
Here's the interesting thing. The Connersville Blower Is not a derivative of the Roots Blower. Two different companies, both from the same town. The roots blower came first, shortly later the Connersville Blower co started up as direct competition to the Roots Blower Co. They later merged into the Roots Blower Co.
