Does anyone know where I might find blue & white houndstooth material for seat backs? Profit auto interiors has it for $120 per yard, little steep for me.

Check with these people: CLICK HERE They have it, and it's going to be pricey, but probably not $120 a yard.

Are you sure it's blue and white? I've seen other colors besides black and white, but not blue and white.

They told me the had a medium blue and white. I know this isn't a factory color but I have a dark blue interior and I've thought about doing this for a unique look if I can find something that is reasonable.

That's also headliner fabric bonded to foam. It would not be suitable for seat covers.

I was just wondering if you ever found any houndstooth for reasonable. I need about 2 yards of blue and black houndstooth and I'm in NC as well. I've spoke to SMS and other places but the best I can find it for is $95/yd plus shipping from California!!! Also looking for a good matching blue vinyl/leather/leather substitute locally.....any sugestions.

I haven't looked for any vinyl, my upholsterer is supplying that. As far as the houndstooth goes the only place I could find blue & white is through SMS at 85 per yard. You might try ProFit Auto Interiors. They have houndstooth but what I've seen they're higher than SMS. I hated to give the 85 but I bought 3 yards and received it today. It looks good, I just hope it looks good once the seats are finished.

From Spruce Pine, bout an hour north of Asheville. I'm in Statesville once or twice a month in the winter quail hunting. What kind of ride are you working on?

It's a 1972 Chevy Super Cheyenne short bed. It's been built for a while but I'm wanting to add some bucket seats out of a 2012 silverado. I want them to look more like factory buckets so I'm removing the headrests and hoping to cover in houdstooth.
