Body

Does anyone know how to mount and reinforce a fiberglass body? i bought a couple books from barnes & Noble on how to build ford hot rods, but to my surprise they don't have anything about that in them. If anyone knows how or where to start any advice would be awesome! Thanks

What Ford body are you talking about? Early Ford glass bodies mount just like the originals, along the frame rail through the floorboard. They can be reinforced in a number of ways. Some have wood in places like around doors front windshield and such. Others have steel square tubing. Still others have a combination of wood and steel. There are differing opinions on which is better. They both have pro's & con's.

Not to be a buttinsky but this string may be better served in the paint/body work discussion group.
