a body, f body ? anybody.
could someone tell me what these different bodys are? and what body an olds cutlas is.
i have got my hands on a 70 cutlas and i am quite sure chevy parts will not fit my olds 350, (i have never worked on an olds, i've always had chevys) i see lots of parts listed by the body type so i guess if i knew the body, it just might make finding the stuff i need a bit simpler. and maybe i won't sound like a dumb kid. thanks. ps. what a cool place this is, lotsa nice helpful people, kinda restores my faith in mankind.

that cutlass is an A body and no chevy engine parts will fit the olds but they do make perfomance parts for it factory and aftermarket. the 350 is a small block but heads cams time sets oil pumps exhaust manifolds from the big blocks will fit the small blocks are 267 307 330 350 403 big blocks are 400 455. olds made a good engine with decent hp and torque, look into W30 and W31 parts
