body to frame

Just about ready to bolt my 34 ford 3 window to the frame ,Do I need some kind of rubber between the frame and the body ?

Yes and No.
You don't need to use any rubber, but then again why not use some anyway.
The rubber is dirt cheap, keeps vibrations down a little, keeps bolt down dents to a minimum.
You don't need em but why not fork out a few extra bones and put some on anyways.
Put it this way, it won't hurt and it's not something you can possibly regret.

Depends, if your car is a glass body and you set it up without and you use it you will have re-assembly issues. I used some 1/16" neoprene rubber under my body. Some will say it prevents the body from squeaking on the frame. My take is if that is the case your body is not down tight enough on the frame. The original cars had some welting that was about 3/16" thick.

And if you do use anything like rubber be sure to use lock nuts. When the rubber compresses over time if you don't use a lock nut it will get loose.
