Does anyone know of a fiberglass body manufacturer named AJC?

I don't recall that I have ever heard of them. What makes or models do they claim to make?

I bought a 1933 willys and its titled as AJC model 77. Just trying to find out who built it , what front suspension is used. Has what looks like mustang II with Chevy calipers. I know everyone thinks, just ask previous owner but he past away a few months ago and wife does not know.

AJC Willys
First of all, I do know that 77 is the original model designation for the 1933 Willys coupe. I did a Google search on AJC Willys and found out that AJC stands for Atlanta Journal Constitution, which evidently is one of Atlanta's newspapers. Also, they (AJC) sponsor a car show that at least at some time included some Willy's vehicles. I don't know if it is exclusivley Willys, but I am led to believe that perhaps the newspaper owner may have had a hand in building repro Willy's vehicles at one time. But, that is presumption at best at this point.
I would suggest doing various computer searches on Willys (clubs, organizations, repro manufacturers, etc.) and see if that brings you any positive results. Good luck and please let me know what you find out. writerDennis [url=http://www.******************[/url] Author of various automotive how-to books |

Turns out that AJC, stands for American Jeep Company ,atleast that is what my local DMV said when we did the title transfer . But when I did a Google search it does not exist . As long as the DMV is happy .
