Body Lift Questions

We have a 1974 Vega on a K-5 Blazer frame. We had been rear ended in it and now are working on getting it back on the road. We discovered that the person we bought it from has used hockey pucks for body lift blocks, also that they cut out part of the floor board to accomidate the frame. Thus the reason the floorboard ripped out when we were hit. Also it currently is lifted 4 inches in the back and none in the front. We need to lift it almost another 2 inches in the back to accomidate the frame. My questions are-
1)Can body blocks be purchased seportat from kits, or is there a kit that comes made for a 6 inch lift?
2)Should it be lifted equaly in the front as the back, or is there a ratio that could allow the front to be lifted less than the front?
3)How do you go about determaning the amount of extention for the steering colume?

Thank you for your help.
