body mounts

My car has a loud clunck underneath the car I believe to be worn out body bushings. The noise actually sounds like it's coming from a couple different spots from below the seat and farther towards the tailgate. The car is a 72 El Camino. If this is the problem can you replace a bushing at a time or do you have to pull the whole body off?

Thanks

You can do one at a time. It's best to do them all in the same day though. Just place a jack on the body right next to the mount, but don't use too much pressure, then remove and replace.

Check out PST (Performance Suspension Technologies) they carry a lot of those kind of parts. Iv'e used their products and they have good quality and reasonable prices.
