Body panel glue on aluminum?

Will glue for body panels work to attach two pieces of 1/8" aluminum flat stock to one another? If so, is the glue available at local parts stores or is it a special order type of thing? If not, is there some other bonding agent I can use? The pieces will not be under any stress or have to hole any weight...other than themselves.

The expericance I have had with bonding aluminum is that it is to be primed with epoxy prior to bonding.
