body shop help

ok the body shop i went to is chargin me 950 dollars to get a dent (6 in across) fixed and lil rust thats about 3in across on the corner of my door cut out is that too much to pay ??

There are shops that will do this a whole lot less by just using fiberglass filler on the rust and making a cake out of the door ding with body filler.

Sounds to me like a quality repair is going to be done but you need to ask what his plans are before this is called a good deal or a ripoff.

With so little information, it is pretty hard to say. If this includes painting a couple of panels, removal of mouldings, handles, bumpers, and lights for a proper paint repair, $950.00 goes pretty quick.

Thats about 13.5 hr labor,aprox 6 hrs paint time (blend both ways,spot jam)comes out of that,7hr repair aint much,including R&I parts? Better ask their procedure,warrantee?Usually get what ya pay for .
