Unless you are talking about some welding method I am not aware of you are saying you don't like wire but like mig, which generically, when speaking about welding are the same thing.

Yes there is other applications of wire feed welding but I really doubt any hotrodders are using it.

Can you describe what method of welding it is that you refer to as wire? Thanks.
