bodywork sanding a 41 Buick

I am doing my bodywork and sanding using a flexible sanding board. This car is has a very large curved body . I am sanding the bodyputty on roof right now with 80 grit and the flexible board and guide coat but should I be using a Da sander for this work ?

I would use a DA just to knock down the excess body filler but then I would come back with your long board

I like K blocks since they flex very well and come in different sizes

you should do just what your doing. sure there are tools that will mkae the job go faster but there would be a risk involved for a novice, you could end up makeing a mess of it and have to start over, much less risk with your long board. I dont think your in a hurry anyway so why rush it.
