bolt-on front crossmember
The 1978-1986 Monte Carlo has a front track measuring 58.5 inches. Can anyone tell me if the front crossmember on any Monte Carlo from 1978 through 1986 is bolted onto the frame and not welded to the frame? I want to use the front crossmember and suspension on a car I am building. thanks for any input.

It is a welded part of the frame...............not bolted on.
