bolting a BBC to th350

Although not typically seen, can a 427 or 454 be bolted to a 350 tranny? I'm not asking about if the tranny can take it, will it connect? shaft spline, bolt pattern etc

Yes,A TH350 will bolt to a BB Chevy. If you had a TH400 behind it before the drive shaft yoke will have to be changed. The 350 output shaft is smaller than the 400.

Dont got nothing behind nothing yet bro. Did a SBC stroker this time but thinking of a true BB for the 69 impala next time but hates giving away HP to the 400 tranny. Thats why I'm thinking of just building another good t350

That's the sweet thing about chevy, the tranny's interchange. I think you'll like the 350 as it seems they respond the smallest trans. shift improver kit's a little better that the th400 at least 1st to 2nd shift because of the lower 1st gear ratio. I put a B&M shift improver kit in both and the th350 would bark the tires where the th400 wouldn't.

I already use one behind the stroker just wonder if it'll bolt to the BB and I got my answer. Now I gotta figure if I want the hassle of building a BB or just shut up with what I have. I mean theres only so much rubber you can leave at a stop light
