bolts for headliner trim?

does anybody know what size screws/bolts are used to mount the front and back headliner trim/moldings in late 2nd gen's?

I'd have to look at what I used on my '78 T/A to be sure, but I'm thinking they were #10 oval-head screws, 'bout an 1" long - I had just picked up some of the pre-bagged screws from the local parts store that looked like they'd work (and they did!).

Yep - right into the slots, no problems with them being loose or pulling out. If you're looking for a certain type, then try the trim screws that don't have the built-in washer since the trim pieces are already dimpled for the screw heads. One thing you could do is find a regular screw that fits the slot just fine, and then match the diameters up with the screws available at the parts store (basically all I had done).
