Bondo question?
On my nova there is a spot that looks like really thick paint craking off. I is about twice as thick as a fingernail and a magnet will stick to it. Is this bondo cracking off or is the paint? The paint seems to be really thick on that car as I think it is the original paint with a think single stage plus primer over the top of that.

Hard to say until you get take grinder at it...........................You could pick at it with a little screwdriver, but, whatever you do, you will make it look worse.

Yea I know I don't want to make it worse right now. It is in the middle of the rear quarter pannel and I can easily see it from the back and it is solid smooth metal on the back so I don't know what to expect. I really want to get this car painted but I want it to be done right without excessive bondo and Im just trying to see what Im up against.
