The 4X4 rear ends are about 4 inches wider than the 2 wheel drive rear ends. All of the truck limited slip differentials are the Governor Lock. You will break it pretty quick if you abuse it. I don't recommend it.

thanx for the info. I would prefer to build something up fresh and reliable. Drivetrains going to be powered by a stocker 305 for a short time while i set up a 355 vortec engine. the drive system in this truck will hopefully sonner than later see some somewhat respectable torque numbers. rather build the drive train up right one time.
