Are you looking for a book to diagnose a problem or rebuild a 4l80?

I think the free tech mentioned in another post applies to a product purchased from that company?

No free tech is free technical assistance. I am in no way associated with the company I linked. I was only trying to assist a co-member of this site who was getting no rersponse to his post from anyone else by researching his request on the internet. This was all I was able to find on his request, which I hope with him working out his problem.

I understand your attempt to help.

My point was the free tech help from bow tie over drive may not be there to help a person build or repair a tranny that was not sold by bowtie.

I work for a leading performance tranny / converter company, we often get calls for tech assistance of a competitor's product. about 50% of the time the caller gets snotty because we can not help them.

Now that i know what the fellow needs , I would suggest an ATSG book to aid in the rebuild process of the 4L80E.

these books can found from many tranny parts vendors and ebay too I would think
