Bookstore was going out of business... picked these up for $1 each

None of these books particularly focus on topics I'm heavily interested in, but knowledge is power. And, I mean... it was four dollars for all of them. Not too bad of a deal to me.

- Holley Carburetor Handbook 4150&4160
- How to build a 1943-35 Chevy Street Rod Replica
- How to Modify your Mopar Magnum V8
- Stock Car Racing Engine Technology

If anyone's gotten a chance to read these, let me know. I'd like to hear your opinion of how informative and well written they might be. I've currently got my nose in this historical fiction novel called "Forgotten Things". The author happened to be staying at my hotel and dropped me a copy, so it'll be a while before I can dig into these ones.

Thanks Cole! I'll probably get started on that Mopar book soon. I'm sure I'll have quite a few questions to bounce off our locar Mopar gurus afterwards.

Unfortunately it wasn't. The sad part was that when I got there the place was already half cleaned out... I would have loved to get there earlier.

I have the Holley manual. Covers the basics fairly well but basically nothing on modifying them. Has some decent photos of metering block orifices and what they control and a good shot of different metering block gaskets and their applications.

Good to know! Thanks Cobalt. To be honest, I think it might be up my alley at this point. I really do need to get acquainted with the basics.
