Boost 700R4

Hey,

I have a 1981 Chevyvan with a stock 350ci small block with a single turbosystem and a TH350 transmission. I adjusted the vacuum modulator of the TH350 so it will shift firm when the turbo make boost, even when the kick down cable is pulled half way. I can drive with boost even when I give half throttle. But when I replace the TH350 with a 700R4 I only have the TV cable that controls line pressure. So when I drive half throttle with the 700R4 and the turbo give boost, the line pressure may be to low to shift the transmission firm and I can burn clutches. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Is there a component that rise line pressure when the turbo give boost?

Thanks

if you look in summitracing magazine, jegs, or go to one of their websites they actually have kits that can help you out,and i think they have something for the kickdown, i know they have some tubes for pretty cheap, but i was looking at them just in case i had the same problem. hope this helps.

This kit allows tuning the hardness of the shift while maintaing the proper geometry throughout the trave of the throttle.
