In my area ( South Carolina ) the GOOD shops charge 8 dollars a hole. It is a additional 30 dollars to bore it with head plates installed.

Wow! eght dollars a hole? I can't remember it ever being that cheap in Michigan.

In this world. It's over $175.00 up to .040" over. Block plate hone is another $50-75.00 extra. Then there is cleaning/mag inspection. Soft plug and cam bearing r&r. I'm a mid priced shop..
