I assume that you are asking about a BW T-10. If that is the case, there were many optional ratios available for different uses. Do a Google search and you may find a chart with the different ratios.

What do you expect? You're too lazy to give us any info, you won't do your own checking for yourself, come on!
There are at least 7 different sets of ratios it could be, and the easiest way of checking in-car is checking tach against MPH in each gear. Out of car, put a vise-grip on the input splines, put another on the output splines, and check each gear.
Did you bother to provide us any of this? Nope.
How about it's original application? You couldn't be bothered to tell us that, either.
You must do your part before expecting anyone else to help.

I'll be concise. Whats stamped or cast into the outside of the case has literally no bearing on whats INSIDE the case. Generally, most BW parts are functionally interchangeable with other ratios from Borg Warner. Heck you could have a 2 speed gearset in a 4 speed case.

Certain brands (AMC and even Mopar along with Ford) used similar but different ratios to whats currently available as the 'Super T10'

GM did it also, case in point: today you can get a 2.88/1.91/1.33/1.00, but in the late-'70s, the Camaro had a 2.85/2.02/1.35/1.00 for some non-Z28s.
The bigger issue for my figuring ( but not the driving experience ) is that 2.88:1, is it really 2.875:1? With B-W not giving tooth counts, there's only one ( costly ) way to know ( buy one )
