Borg Warner 4 Speed Shifter Bracket

I have a Borg Warner T10 4 speed. VIN # 1CN129154 & if i did my research correctly it's a 1982 out a "F" body GM car. I can not find the correct shifter bracket for it. The 2 top holes are across from each other and 2" apart. The bottom hole is 2.25" below the top left hole and 1.75" below the top right hole. The pattern is a triangle. I have called Hurst and gone to parts store with no luck. None of the bolt patterns are correct. Any help please!! This is all that stops me from putting my 56 truck on the road.

Borg Warner 4 Speed Shifter Bracket

Are you sure its out of an '82 ?? That was a new model year and I think they only came with automatic tranny's,and when they did come with standards,I think they were 5 speeds.

BW 4 Speed Plate

Thanks for the web sites but I have been to ALL of them and even called and talked to their "techs". The Hurst tech was the least help full.
The VIN I gave in the original post number identifies it as a 1982 made in Norwood, CA. If someone else does the cross references and comes up with something else let me know. Having said that I am still looking for the correct bracket, please help!!

The link I just posted is the install kit for a 1982 camaro/firebird with the T10. It includes the bracket you want, although maybe its a little expensive if you only want the bracket. You could always make one yourself out of 1/4" or 3/16" plate. The install instructions are on that page as well, and there is a good diagram of how it is supposed to be.

I am going to lock this thread for a short time.

It appears that Channel Cat and youngc0@mchsi.com are the same person with multiple membership IDs. That is a violation of the rules here at HR.
