When I put a Ford T10 in my 66 Comet, I used a C4 auto trans yoke. The spline count was correct, but I had to have the yoke shortened to fit the T10 transmission. I have put over 50,000 miles on it and have not had one problem. If the spline count is correct, you should not have any problem with it, if you have to shorten the yoke. Though I had a drive shaft shop put the yoke in a lathe and turn it down. The shop told me it is very easy to mess up a yoke, so I paid them $20 to shorten it.

Your Super T10 uses the T400 yoke for the 6" tail shaft.
The yoke is about 3-1/2" into the tail housing. If your parts guy needs make and model, 1969 camaro 396 with T400. |
