The boss brought home another "treasure". :)
 

This Corvair van has been here a few days but I didn't know it was the boss' until today. He has a brother who is into Corvairs and has a bunch of parts. They bought it to put a motor in and resell, it's REALLY a solid car.

When I was 17 or so at the used car lot my dad managed in Alameda ("Island auto sales", it's still there) he had one with a 289 Ford in it! It was mounted behind the seat with a box around it. It had a little 2x4 tubing T bucket style frame under the back with an 8" rear. :D

I really dig Corvairs, always have.

The trailer is his too. He is going to paint it white and red and tow behind his 65 Rambler. :D
