"Bowed" deck lid
I am gearing up for the Spring when I plan to tackle the "big areas" of body repair on my '64 Corvair Monza convertible. One area is the rear deck lid (hood for a corvair). The car has been hit in the rear on the driver's side of the hood, right next to the fender, and the deck lid has a small crease in the front edge which can be hammered out, but now the deck lid is slightly bowed, making it set up above the fender about 1/4". How do I get that bow out of it? Thanks for your forum! I appreciate your advice.
