bowtie intake

yes i was wondering if the cast iron bowtie intake ref# 14011034 ever came a car. im building a race car and the class im running says that the cast iron bowtie intake was for marine uses only. But my whole family thinks different. So i need to prove that the bowtie intake came on a gm vehicle

The part number you referenced is for a cylinder head, not an intake manifold. Here's a link to 14 threads with more info on the head....

Sorry the cast iron bowtie was marine only, never installed in a production vehicle. It is a cast iron copy of the 70-73 LT-1 intake however they were aluminum. If your rules only state must be a production intake the aluminum should be legal.
