is it the brake booster??????

Ok so it sounds like I have a vacuum leak but when I hold the brakes down it goes away.I've checked for a leak but can't Seem to find one&it seems to be coming from uner the dash of the drivers side.

Disconnect the vacuum line from the booster and plug it then see if the leak goes away.

to check booster wait till next day or next year , pull the check valve fitting the hose hooks too .
you hear swoosh , booster good .
i've seen them hold for years not running scrapping cars .
probably tour heater vacuum components .
diaphragm shut and opener .
mouse eat a hose under dash ? .

But if that is the problem Would tue leak go away when I hold the brakes down?
