it's only me

I must apologize to Kevin45, I'm new here to this forum and my first post was a question on the WELCOME folder. I would guess a LOT of guys do this from the other posting stating to introduce yourself here and ask question in the proper forum. This might have something to do with the way the new person gets the POP-UP to post a introduction....... So I will take the blame and not pass the buck.

I'm totally new to rodding, I've been building IMCA style modified chassis for a while though. I'm very handy with a Hossfeld bender and a Miller welder....... I will have to farm out the interior of a hot-rod to someone that knows and understands what to do there....... I could do that if I wanted a aluminum interior.......LOL

I'm 38 years old and live in Duluth, MN. My wife and I have been together since high school, and we have a daughter 12 years old. I have decided it's about time for me to sell off my racing stuff and build myself something we can all enjoy together. We enjoy racing together but I feel a bit selfish after all these years.

I have a friend in Oklahoma that has about a dozen trucks in his yard........ mostly late 40's early 50's stuff...... Mostly Fords... he has told me I get the pick of the litter when I want....... I was down to visit him over the winter, but was working and could haul a project home.

This looks like a nice site, I feel welcome already.........

Jeff
