Brake Diagram Revisited

Hey All- Ive seen earlier posts regarding the brake lights and the switch.

Can someone post a diagram? I need some help on this. I have a constant 12v+ wire, another one under the dash and then the brake lights and turns.

What goes where? I have a 50's Ford F1 and installed a new harness a while back and am now cleaning up some wires and find myself puzzled.

I do know the hot goes to the brake switch, but there are 2 posts there. What is the other post for?

thanks
Bryan

fittyfod,

The other side of the switch goes to the turn signal switch. So when you put on the brakes and then want to turn left the switch causes the left side lights to connect to the flasher system BUT keeps the solid brake light "on", on the right side.
