Question brake drums

I have heard that '82 Camaros that came with disc/drum brakes have aluminum rear drums. Also that there were some mid-sixties mid-size Buick wagons that also had rear aluminum drums. Any truth to this and if so, where can someone find these things ?

Thumbs up

Buicks from '58 to around '67 had finned aluminum drums all the way around. They can get kinda pricey since they are easily retrofitted to 39-48 Ford spindles. Don't quote me on those years...

Hi, Some 3rd generation Camaros got them (1982-1992) as well as some Monte Carlo's and their G-body relatives. I don't know of ANY companies repo'ing these drums, so I believe the the bone yard is your only source.
