brake light pressure switch

I have a 50 plymouth,6 volt, inline pressure brake light switch. I was wondering if all the switches are the same or do they have diffrent thread diameters? Can I use any 6 volt switch that is inline? Thanks

They are a NPT thread ... so most any 6 volt one will thread in ... the electrical hook up may vary ... but NAPA most likely has one or can get one ...
