Make sure the bulb is good.
Is it a (2) filament bulb? One the tail light and one for the brake light?
Make sure the ground is good at the lamp socket.
Does the right turn signal work?
Do the tail lights work?
Does the left brake light work?
Make sure the turn signal switch is in the centered position when testing the brake lights.
