Brake petal on the floor or on the swing.

I am in the process of stripping my frame (51 Chevy 3600) and expect to keep the master cyl on the frame and use the existing brake petal. I will be installing disc on the front and maybe on the rear as well. Will I need to strip off the old master cyl mounts from the frame or does someone make a master cyl that mounts to the old mount?

Since you will need to be going w/ a completely new power MC, strip out all the old stuff and start fresh. Check w/ Jim Carter, Chevs of the 40s, or one of the many other Advance Design parts peddlers. I am certain they sell complete conversion kits.
