Brake shoes

On duo-servo, I forgot where the shoes go, am I right
Primary shoes go foward
Secondary shoes back?

Short shoe to the front long shoe to the rear.

Short lining shoe forward, long lining shoe to the rear. The rear shoe is self actuating when the vehicle is moving forward, so it does more work, the extra ling is simply to provide wear close to equal with the front lining. If you get them backwards they still work, just not for as many miles.
