brake swap on 66chevelle

Im wanting to convert my drum front brakes on my 66chevelle to disc.Does anyone know what years are interchangable.I can get a 81 malibu but i dont know if it will swap.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I know you can use up to 71 A body, but after that I am not sure of.

I did this one. I think it's '68-'72 Chevelle and through '74 on Nova. Chevelles were all picked over but I found a '74 Nova and got the parts. Most people don't consider the Nova as it is rear steer but swap sides and you are good to go.

I think Global West has an upper control arm that will let you use 70-81 Camaro/Firebird or 75-79 Nova stuff.

A B-body is an Impala/Caprice. An A-body is a Chevelle/Malibu (or clone) up to '77 (I think), & a G-body is the later Malibu platform.
