Brake True?

I just saw a commercial for a product called "Brake True". It looks like a piece of rough grit sandpaper that is in the shape of a brake pad. What you do is, when you change your brakes you slip this product in between your disc rotor and your brake pad and it will "machine" your rotors for you when you apply the brake. But the commercial doesn't say if you are supposed to remove the "Brake True" after use, or even drive the car. I think this is a crap product to waste $19.95 on.Any ideas? Steve

Also they said that it's soooo hard to remove the rotors, by the way it shows a man in his late 50's using a 3 foot pry bar trying to get the rotor off. the caliper was probably still bolted on. Steve
