brakes

I have a 79 trans am and i swapped the stock 10 bolt rear end for 1st gen camaro 12 bolt. I want to put disk brakes in the rear and am wondering where is the best place to get a brake kit for this car? I will need backing plates and all. I only want to spend around $400. HELP!

I don't know if you can do it for $400 well i guess it depends on how good a set you want they are out there i am sure . Might have to do some shopping around. But i think it's going to be tough to get a decent set at that price. JMO
But you never know. did you google it yet. I went with SSBC on the front of m camaro and they have worked really good for me.

They should sell kits for just her rear most of these company's do . And as far as your booster i don't see why it and your M/C wouldn't work, it should be just fine and you should already have a dual M/C on the car already also. But they might have a better up-grade for those parts also.JMO

I found a kit for $560 shipped and it includes e brake and proportioning valve. The only thing it says is Axle flanges may need to be modified to less than 6" outside diameter for proper rotor fit. Is this a big deal and how do i go about this?
